Amberstone

Amberstone is a region in Beastieball.

Description

Amberstone is the region found furthest east. It is primarily characterized by cliffs without much foliage, although certain areas have grass, trees, ponds, and caves. It is bordered by Mythwood to the north, Geo City to the west, and the Chroma Sea to the south. Amberstone is denoted on the map as an orange-brown area, similar to a dark amber.

Amberstone contains three towns, each with their own Ranked Coach:

• Jasper in the north
• Rutile in the east
• Beryl in the south

A lot of Amberstone is not categorized into sub-areas, but other specified areas in Amberstone are:

• Rutile Nature Preserve
• Jasper Mines
• Quartz Canyon
• Wayback Rail Trail

There are about 32 screens in all of Amberstone, including the three towns.

Story

Amberstone is where the player begins their journey. Beginning in their hometown of Rutile, the player is free to roam north towards Jasper or south towards Beryl.

Trivia

• The yellow-orange color of the ground in most areas of Amberstone could be described as amber, although it is unclear whether the coloring or naming was decided upon first.
• All three towns in the region are named after minerals, and so is Quartz Canyon.
  • The name Amberstone may refer to the organic gemstone known as amber, which would be in line with this theme.
