Axolati
"They crave attention. They can hardly spend time with their own kind because they compete for an audience."

Axolati is a Beastie. They are one of the three starter Beasties, alongside Kichik and Bildit. They metamorph into Hopsong starting at Level 14.
Biology
Axolati is a quadrupedal, reptilian Beastie. They have a spherical body with red skin, large round eyes, and short legs. They have have tan skin from their mouth to their underbelly, with a stripe and two maroon dots on each side, and they have a patch of maroon on their forehead. They have burgundy heart-shaped frills on their cheeks and head, with a patch of burgundy on their back, and they have a tadpole-like tail with burgundy on the upper side of it.
In Axolati's Raremorph form, their skin becomes pale pink, their belly becomes dull pale red, and their frills become pale yellow.

Trivia
- Axolati's internal name is "frog1". It also has an old internal name, "tadpole".
- According to a September 2023 Newsletter Post, Axolati is Greg Lobanov's favorite of the three starter Beasties.
Origin
Axolati is based on a frog or tadpole; their frills also bear some resemblance to those of an axolotl.
Name origin
Axolati may be a combination of axolotl and sol, la, ti (three of the notes in the English Solfège music scale).
