Thinks the Wild Flowers are the coolest team in the League. Explains that Celia treats Beastieball like a science and is always testing new concepts and strategies. Thinks Beastieball is boring if one only cares about who wins. Wants to see Beasties do cute and amazing things.
Has a pet Yueffowl named Kiara. Talks about the effort that goes into caring for a Beastie. Insists that Beasties make great pets and are very smart, but not smarter than humans. Thinks humans and Beasties need to stick together.
Tianyi
Talks about the great tree that lives in Begonia. Explains that there used to be many trees like it around, and that, growing up in town, children are taught that it is sacred and they should be grateful for its existence.
Is in Solanum Weald to photograph spiders. (Not spider Beasties, just plain old spiders). Comments that to some, they're less exciting since they don't play sports.
Mentions that even "spider" Beasties aren't actual spiders, they're just Beasties: Despite their similar appearance they're completely unrelated, and an example of convergent evolution. He can't explain Webbounce though, expressing confusion over the evolutionary advantages of being a clown. Wonders if there are any mime spiders.
Says that every trip to the Weald is different, since the walls aren't always what they seem, and advises the player to be careful.
The first coach the player has to face when climbing the tower to challenge the Magic Moons. Her parent "paid good money" for her to get into the Academy. Before your match against Callisto, mentions that you should be nervous about facing Callisto, because her Beasties will inflict the NERVOUS feeling. She admittedly flubs this joke.
Joel
The second coach the player has to face when climbing the tower to challenge the Magic Moons. Comments that the training at the Academy is intense, but playing you will be a "break". Before your match against Callisto, helpfully mentions that she loves to use Sideways attacks.
Allison & David
Claim to have been able to talk to Beasties. Callisto says they're prodigies; they were puled out of school to train at the Academy. Allison believes they'll be able to win the Crown Series someday, and says David "lacks the winner mentality" because he's too young. They're happy to have each other's company, but Allison says when they grow up they'll be rivals.
Sol
Arrives at Beastieball Academy after previously appearing in Jasper. "A bit obsessive," having recruited too many Beasties to keep track of. If the player has recruited five or more Beasties, Sol will give them a Beastiepedia mod that marks what Beasties they have recruited.
Mentions that coaches donate their Beasties to participate in the Tower Tournament to let them get lots of high-level practice.
A man of few words who offers to play a match against the player. When defeated, suggests that the player may be strong enough to take on the mountain. Asks the player where they are from, but has never heard of Rutile. Is not a Ranked Coach, and laments that "everyone decent" is.
Watches wild Beasties in the area west of Begonia. Asks the player to show her different Beastiepedia entries with completed Research in exchange for Super Attract Spray. This includes, in order:
This team represents the lowest possible levels it can be encountered at. Plays and Metamorphs are scaled based on the levels of each Beastie and their teammates, but level scaling is not yet fully understood. See below each team for notes on their scaling.
Additional plays are swapped in based on the highest level of play learned by this Beastie or any of its teammates by level up. Beasties that metamorph do so after the level they would naturally do so.
