Merrifly

Merrifly is a Beastie. They metamorph into Cherrily starting at level 20.
Biology
Merrifly is a very vaguely insectoid Beastie that resembles a cotton ball. Their small body, which is pink, is almost entirely covered by a ball of fluff; if this fluff is made of the same materials as Cherrily, this is thin strands of wax bundled together tightly. Their fluff is nearly white, but can have undertones ranging from pink to yellow. Two long appendages, potentially tails, protrude from the bottom of the fluff ball, becoming yellow or orange as they get further from the body. Two very small appendages stick out of the sides of the fluff ball, possibly near-vestigial arms. Their large, light blue eyes and v-shaped mouth, as well as two of what appear to be thick antennae (which also become yellow or orange past a certain point), are visible from the front.
Raremorph Merrifly has darker blue eyes, and their body is a very bright shade of green.

Trivia
- Merrifly's internal name is "cheerleader1". It also has an old internal name, "support1".
- Prior to the October 2024 Closed Playtest, Merrifly had a slightly differen design, with a W-shaped mouth rather than the V-shaped mouth of its current design.
