Neptune Stadium
Neptune Stadium is an area towards the south of the Chroma Sea. A luxury cruise ship that would have doubled as a new stadium for the Crown Series, its construction was cancelled due to safety concerns around aquatic Beasties viewing it as a threat. It is home to Beasties of levels 37-39.
Description
Perhaps the most ambitious construction project ever attempted by humanity, Neptune Stadium survives as only a shadow of its beautiful vision.
-Beastieball League info plaque
Neptune Stadium is beached on a sandbar. It is an area with about 9 screens. Boats arriving at it need to dock at a set of floating boards and debris. From outside of the stadium, the sandbar (with a campsite on it) and twisted pieces of metal are visible, and there is an external walkway encircling part of the sandbar which is also badly damaged.
There is also an info plaque explaining Neptune Stadium's history. It was meant to replace Crown Stadium, allowing the Crown Series to happen anywhere in the world, while also serving as a luxury cruise ship with expensive restaurants, swimming pools, theatres, and event spaces, but it was viewed as a threat and was attacked by Tortanchors until construction was abandoned for safety concerns. The plaque also warns that boarding or exploring the stadium will result in fines of up to $25,000.
There is, however, an accessible door leading inside the stadium. Inside of the somewhat dark first room is a security elevator, initially locked with a Security Card, and two doors, one of which is blocked by debris. Down the security elevator is a control room, with panels that allow the building's lockdown to be turned off. The other rooms are empty, but feature many large windows. Some areas are blocked by debris, and one slopes right into the ocean. One of the few accessible features is a large staircase, which leads up on one side to the outside walkway and down to a shallowly flooded area with a guardian team protecting the Security Card. There is another elevator to the left of the entrance door that is under lockdown unless the lockdown has been lifted, which leads to a dark basement, still with large windows but presumably below the water's surface, where Diabloceras can be encountered.
Many powerful aquatic Beasties have moved into Neptune Stadium:
