Pladion is an Extinct Beastie. They metamorph from Platypulse by having its 
Body, 
Spirit, and 
Mind DEFs all boosted +5 or more, and receiving 3+ attacks.

This Beastie has no known habitats, and cannot be recruited from the wild. However, a wild Pladion can be encountered in Tawny Wilds; after challenging them, they will wander around the map until they can be fully researched.

Trivia
- Pladion's internal name is "platypus".
- Pladion was originally designed to be a normal third stage of the Platenna metamorph line rather than an Extinct form. When Extinct Beasties were conceptualized, Pladion was changed to become one, as it already had a dinosaur-like design. [1]
- This is supported by its internal name. The internal names of all other Extinct Beasties are the internal name of their previous form with "mon" appended to the end, rather than Pladion merely being "platypus". In addition, Platypulse's internal name is "platypus2", and it is the only "final" form of a Beastie in the game to have a number appended to its internal name.
