Rookee

Rookee is a Beastie. They metamorph into Garood starting at level 31.
Biology
Rookee is a bipedal Beastie with both mammalian and avian traits. They have a small round body with white fur that resembles a cotton ball, with two extremely small arms in front. Their head resembles that of a cockatoo, with white fur/feathers, pale blue rings around their eyes, and yellow on their cheeks and crest. They have large curvy ears with light brown at the tips, and a small light brown nose. They have long, grey legs that resemble a cross between a bird and a kangaroo, with plantigrade feet that have two digits each. They also have a short, rounded, light brown tail.
In Rookee's Raremorph form, they become almost completely monochrome, with their fur/feathers, ears, and nose becoming duller grey, and their cheeks and crest becoming dull pink.

Trivia
- Rookee's internal name is "kangaroo1". It also has two old internal names, which match its final name: "rookee" and "rookee1".
- Prior to the October 2024 Closed Playtest, Rookee's Recessive Trait was No-Hands.
Origin
Rookee is based on a combination of a kangaroo and a cockatoo. Their skill at mimicry and learning human words is similar to the ability of other parrots to mimic human speech, and their noisy and rambunctious nature mirrors that of most cockatoos.
Name origin
Rookee is a corruption of rookie; it may also incorporate the last three letters of kangaroo.
