Turtaneer
"They aren't great swimmers, but their bouyant shell keeps them afloat when they're in the water."

Turtaneer is a Beastie. They metamorph from Turogue starting at level 18. They metamorph into Tortanchor starting at level 33.
Biology
Turtaneer is a bipedal, reptilian Beastie that resembles a turtle. They have sea green skin and a large shell with tan, brown, and dull red stripes, seaweed growing out the back, and two yellow seashells on their shoulders that resemble epaulets. Their head is somewhat humanoid in shape, with some black stubble on their chin, two long zigzag pieces of seaweed under their nose that resemble a mustache, and a dark green top and two strands of seaweed coming from the top of their head that resemble a bandana. Their limbs resemble those of a turtle, with stubby ends and three short claws each.
In Turtaneer's Raremorph form, their skin becomes a saturated brown, the seaweed becomes a lighter spring green, and their shell becomes bright blue and teal.

- Turtaneer's internal name is "turtle2". It also has an old internal name, "tank2".
Origin
Turtaneer is based on a turtle. They also have many visual similarities to typical depictions of sea pirates, such as their beard stubble, mustache, and the seaweed on their head that resembles a bandana.
Name origin
Turtaneer may be a combination of turtle and buccaneer.
