Walter
Walter is an NPC in Beastieball. He lives on Coquelicot Beach, and is one of the few people left who knows how to hand-weave Jerseys.
Story
After the player gets the Tattered Jersey from the beached Tortanchor on Cerise Atoll, Reese instructs them to bring it to Walter on Coquelicot Beach. He comments that it is very unusual for this Beastie to have given you a Jersey; Jerseys form unbreakable bonds between Coach and Beastie. He is unable to repair the Jersey without "disturbing its fundamental nature." However, Rain#26, his Surgus, has the ability to "read" Jerseys to learn about them.
After Rain reads the Jersey, Walter informs the player that whatever bond the Jersey had before is completely gone now. The Beastie cannot find their coach any more, which is why they're acting strange. Afterwards, Walter gives the player the Jersey Bundle, which contains information about the lost coach: A woman with freckles and a lot of family, who plays guitar, smells "pleasantly sweaty", and lives in Beryl.
